FY Fabrication was founded at the beginning of 2020. Since then it has grown into the full fledged shop that it is now. FY has been tasked with all sorts of projects: excavator repair, manufacturing industrial gates, broadforks, brackets, shelving, custom flatbeds with and without lumber racks, planter beds, retaining walls, commercial signage, signs for home, wedding gifts, fountains, sculptures, light fixtures, winch mounts,
FY is short for Fuck Yeah! (Sorry, mom) From the mohawk Brian, the owner had, when the company first started to the stoked excitement each project brings the shop. This exuberantly positive exclamation is a big part of who we are and how we live. We want every project that leaves our shop to inspire this level of stoked from even our most reserved customers.

Brian Gundlach
Brian grew up in Tuolumne County. He has since lived abroad and on California’s central coast, but back in good ‘ol Sonora is where he has decided to raise his family.
His father was a contractor, so he spent a lot of his youth tinkering. Making sure things were plum, square, and level are skills he thought everyone had mastered as children. A bit of a bookworm, he decided he’d rather work with his head than his back. He went to school for computer science. 6 months after that while working at a desk he decided that fresh air and sunshine were definitely more his speed. Now with his CNC Plasma Table and his welder, he gets the best of both worlds. Computer design, CAD, and hands on manufacturing.
